People prefer dating to reading magazines?
Condé Nast US closes another four magazines, and Condé UK launches dating site. These are interesting times people. Called trulymadlydating.com, it professes to be a site where GQ boys can meet Glamour girls, or vice versa. Shut up.
So I ventured over there to do some research for you, and can report back telling you that finding a date or dates with people you may hate or hates will cost you money. I trawled (or do I mean trolled) through some of the fine specimens on offer, and no I'm not getting a particularly GQ vibe from those guys. I can also tell you that no-one wants to date a divorced smoker. People are too demanding, that's why they're single.
However, they are currently running a 7 day free trial, so I say give a go for a week. If you don't have anything else to do, or anyone to do it with. trulymadlydating.com. Report back please.

The Internet is a mess, and needs a damn good tidy up.
The internet really is a mess, full of irrelavent rubbish from 1857 and a great source of unreliable sources. There are no caretakers or superintendents of the internet to clear out the rubbish or police the superhighways. It does make me wonder why none of the encyclopedia or dictionary companies haven't taken control. Hell, why don't the publishing companies take it over, they have no magazines left. What about Bill Gates, he doesn't have a proper job anymore, it would be a philanthropic endeavour. But I for one, am tired of turning to a source that provides me with a hella lot of misinformation. I am a huge fan of libraries.
There was an article in last week's New York Times about the clutter on The Cloud, but in the internet minute I had I couldn't find. So please, will somebody go and find it for me and post it in the comments. HELLO BABIES this is Web 2.0, consume and produce at the same time, I'm not here to do everything for you. You will be rewarded with my unconditional love and thanks for as long as this page is current. What can I tell you, that's how the world works these days. I didn't say I was a fan.
