French Vogue, Swan Lake

So everyone is blogging about Emmanuelle Alt taking over from Carine Roitfeld at the helm of Vogue Paris. This is pretty irrelevant news to most people's lives. However, what I do think is interesting, judging from this photo of Carine and Ms Alt, is that clearly there's a White Swan, Black Swan situation going on here.
